Mrs. Karishma Yasin Mrs Karishma Yasin graduated with First Class 6th Position in BA.LLB (Hons.) in Constitutional Law from J.B. Law College, Guwahati, in 2015 and completed her LLM in Corporate Banking and Insurance Law (CBIL) with First Class from Amity University, Noida, in 2017. She began her career in 2017 as a Legal Executive at a Noida-based company, where she worked on Indian and foreign judgments (U.S.A, U.K., and Singapore) for preparing headnotes. In 2018, she was posted as the first-ever Legal Research Associate at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Guwahati Bench, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi. There, she worked with Hon’ble Tribunal Members (Hon’ble High Court Judges and Other Courts Judges) on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Company Laws, where she took part in scrutiny of petition filed, attend regular Courtroom proceedings and prepare draft of entire Judgements and Orders of the Tribunal on Company , Insolvency and Bankruptcy cases. She participated in a “Conference conducted by IBBI” held Guwahati, 2018. She is a Certified POSH Professional Trainer, specialized in the "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013," and has conducted multiple awareness seminars. She has experience of practicing as an Advocate in Guwahati and other courts in Assam, including Delhi. She also assisted the “National Green Tribunal” (NGT), Delhi Bench, for the “World Conference on Environment, 2017” held in New Delhi. She holds a Diploma in Computer Application and she joined NEF Law College as an Assistant Professor since August 2024.
