Ms. Jawaba Ratna Thakur Ms. Thakur completed her LL.B in the year 2010 from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and did her LL.M with specialization in Criminology from J.B. Law College, Guwahati. Ms. Thakur has done her graduation (B.A) from Venkateswara College, Delhi University with honours in Sociology. Ms. Thakur was practicing as an advocate in the Gauhati High Court, apart from regularly appearing in various other forums like Arbitral Tribunals, Consumer Dispute Resolution Forums and District Courts, with an experience of seven years ,before she joined NEF Law College in 2017.She has completed an Intensive Training of Mediators conducted by International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) at Delhi in April,2011 and have been actively participating in seminars on Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) held in Delhi and Bangalore. She is also one of the founder members of NGOs like ‘CELLARS’ and ‘SHISU KALPA’ and has actively conducted a number of legal awareness camps and legal aid camps in various districts of Assam under the auspices of the said NGOs.
